Nothin Much, You?

Cool story bro. 5/5

It would be good if you wrote it...

Everything is sampled... Even the formant wobbles are from Rock and Roll by Skrillex, you sampled like half his songs... Plus, the wobbles' volume isn't even consistent so it sounds obviously sampled. Come on dude, I don't deny that it takes tones of skill to sample and make a whole song with them, but really credit the original artists because they were the ones who took the time to make all the samples you're using.

The idea was great and even the drop was cool. I like the song, but the reason you lost points was because of poor mastering and lack of credit.

Basilisk responds:

Hahaha... Wow first off how the hell would I even get his samples lol... Geezus I don't have access to his shit! Or else I'd be famous right now! Alot of Dubstep Artist use "NI Massive, NI Reaktor, Ableton Live, and DHU" So in all reality the dubstep songs by Skrillex you grew up loving are just his attempt at mixing pre-made sounds. Anyone with FL Studio, Ableton Live, and NI Instruments experiance would know this... Come on... Don't hate, Love :)

Every sound you hear in this song was either a pre-made VST MIDI or From Scratch... So calm down... Skrillex and others influence me... that's it

I HERD U LIEK FOREIGN BEGGARS

I can definitely hear major influence by them especially the, "Quick with the lyrics like a twitch of the head," sounded exactly like them. :) Nice work, I'd take out the "Yo" in the beginning. Add some effects on the vocals like high pass filters, phasers, etc. Also put some wobbles in there, the lead synth is okay, but an LFO on it with some heavier bass would sound sick especially if you led the main lead synth into the wobble one! (and have different wobbles in there too ^_^)

Haha, I didn't make the beat, just the lyrics :D Thanks, though!

Oh, and yeah, Foreign Beggars are fricking sick

DAT B'ASS

This track is so darn fantastic! First off, congratz on making the Top 5. :) The progressive part is really nice. I FUCKING LOVE that electro bass you made. I'm assuming NI Massive? Anyway that filtered build and drop at 1:00 is SO eargasmic. Interesting idea giving the bass some weird flanger/ring modulation at 1:06. I like the pad/muffled vocals/piano breakdown at 1:17 and at 1:45 you start to sound like one of my favorite prog house/trance producers Arnej Especially like his song The Day Will Come (8 Wonders Mix) Awesome dubstep break at 2:15. I would say add something with a little more texture over the electro bass to keep the listener 100% interested. And then you fucking drop the bass again at 3:00. It's so sexy. I just wish your drop was longer. :/ Well then you slowly slide back to the progressive part ending with some clean FX. I just wish this had a little more melody and more climaxes. Anyway nice job, this is one of my NG favorites. 5/5 9/10

One of the first tunes I heard on here—it still jams!

I love how this builds and I CAN'T get enough of that "YAIY" :)

Are you fucking kidding me?

Myself and a lot of other people create quality music. We work hard and produce very beautiful songs. Some examples would be Silta, AXTTXA, FurryNG, DjClyme, etc. You, on the other hand, just hacked your I.P. address to get on the NG top 5 just so peoples' ears will just get raped. We deserve to be on the top 5, not your bullshit. I can understand if you're just starting off, but the fact that your on the top 5 with this crap just pisses the hell out of me. You're an audio-pedophile. Get the fuck off of newgrounds. 0/5 0/10

Officially my favorite song by you. This is so beautiful and deep. The break is great and the melodies & guitar are awesome. Great work.

DjClyme responds:

Dubstep huh? never really considered that. when I first began this project, it had a BreakCore style beat(which is basically DnB), and actually it still does, since i made two versions of this song. One which was a happy-hardcore version(this one) and a Breakcore version. both have basically the same melodies and buildups, but the the Bassline is different in the breakcore version. The Happy hardcore version was the better of the two, so that was the one i uploaded.

anyway, thx for the review :)

I love you.

So much.

g4ebguyGT responds:

I will never understand why this has almost a 1000 views... its like some how it made front page without me knowing, and I only spent 5 minutes on this thing.
